Sarstoon-Temash National Park is located in the far south of Belize between the Temash and Sarstoon Rivers. The park is 41,854 acres of Lowland Broad-leave Wet Forest and Mangrove and littoral forest. The Sarstoon Temash Institute for Indigenous Management is co-manager of the park.
Access is difficult and I can find no references to road access to the park, although I noted signs for the park on the Southern Highway outside Punta Gorda in October 2008. Guide books suggest arrangng tours through operators in Punta Gorda
